Tica Sydnor is a botanical artist based in Lynchburg Virginia.
She paints beautiful flowers and plants in simple and elegant water-colors.
She is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artist and has studied under British Artist Billy Showell and French artist Beatrice Saalburg in Normady.
Tica was inspired by the botanical artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759-1840) who was known as the “Raphael of Flowers” She studied and learned his classical style composition and realistic attention to detail. Eager to share this method she has been teaching classes for over 15 years.
